It felt more like half an episode because a lot is set up, but not much happens. It's like lining up dominoes to fall in episode 18. I can't wait!

Nah, I'm pretty sure the bones belong to whoever Masayuki saw get killed by Miki during that flashback. I think whoever it was that she murdered has left her with darkness in her heart, and that's why her EMD system is so messed up. Maybe even why she went to jail, too. And Mr. White Guy better be Watari or someone just as awesome.
