Title: Is Yuki Evil?
Description: Theory
avatarthe - January 25, 2008 07:21 AM (GMT)
For the last 3 episodes I have had the uneasy feeling that Yuki"s feeling for Honey, and the
obvious defects in the Sisters systems is going to result in Yuki becoming evil and possible joining
Panther Claw (Maybe she"ll change her name to Sister Jill?)
Evidence:
1. She seems REALLY obssesed with Honey, I mean her competing for Honeys attention is cute, and a but over the top, which just may be reflecting the shows over the top feel. But I really think she thinks of the Duke as a Romantic rival for Honey, she doesn't realize that they are after her as a weapon, just the same look at the joy and kind of scary way she defeats him.
2. Retirement age Panther Claw talked about her seemed to feel she was dangerous and scary (for shadowing?)
3. Why are Yuki's parent's lying to her about her sisters? Is the truth dangerous?
4. Yuki looks pretty scary in the vision of the future with the blood spatters on her face....
Anyone else getting this vibe?

Well every sister has a defect right?
Yuki's defect could be that her mind is screwed up or something, and she changes sides.
And I rofl'd at the part where she was like "have a great day" while she ripped Watari's blades out of his feet. I'd love to see her find the lesbian egg lady molesting Honey, then see yuki pwn the lesbian egg lady.

If I think about them as cyborgs, I'm more towards thinking that Yuki has been tasked with protecting Honey. As for the "why", or why she hasn't been looked for her before... I don't know.
But since we are basically talking Anime story writing here, it's well possible that whatever Climax is brewing in that area has attracted the Kisaragi cyborgs to show up there, and/or go into the "team play"/"final destiny"/whatever mode --- which would cause Yuki to stick around Honey no matter what.
There's also the Miki thing. Just because her thing appears to be a defect doesn't mean it actually IS a defect. *Maybe* the three are actually one honey split into three bodies, and Miki will eventually end up absorbing the other two...
(But then, she could just as well be an older model (like a first version that got refined into the honey/yuki models later), or just a defective model...)
Basically, from the 14 episodes I've seen so far (thanks, Spork!), I wouldn't want to jump into conclusions just yet. Even I can come up with a number of possible storylines that don't contradict what I've seen so far...

That is a very interesting idea! Maybe the Three sisters are the three fractures parts of one personality and once they fuse we will have a complete Honey.
Other plot points, if they are staying with the original Honey story then Honey is a android (or is she a cyborg?) based on (or made from?) the creators daughter who was killed in a car acident. I may be reading too much into this, but although the sisters bleed, the opening credits show Honey's neck to be completely mechanical.... So are we talking about the orginal girls brain in a robotic body? Or More of a terminator like robot encased in living tissue? Or some sort of New Battlestar Galactica Cylon, nanotech, synthetic cyborg (which the opening credits would disagree with?
What about Miki's memories of losing her parents in a car acident and the giant hand? Too many drugs?
Lots of questions to be answered, it's a fun series!
Thanks for the subs!!

It stands to reason.
Sister Miki seems to be the most pragmatic, but with the physical defect.
Sister Yuki is physically perfect but emotionally sheltered / slightly unstable.
She's got lesbian feelings for honey; it's probably fait accompli that she pwns the lesbian eggsucking professor and then takes her place in Panther Claw.
All I can say is....
Anakin!!

From the differences between the personality of Cutey Honey in the old 70's anime and manga and the Honey(s) in the Live Action series, I would tend to agree that maybe the 3 presonalities are aspects of the original Honey. Maybe she sort of is "split up," and it wouldn't be toku without combining robots...
That said, I don't know if I actually want to see them combine into Ultra Super Combo Meal Honey Zord With Fries... <_<

Okay, now I'm more convinced.
However, I guess Honey and Miki have also killed a lot of people when they fight (all of those Honey dematerializations), just not unprovoked....

Hmm.. Could be Miki Might be an Older Model of the Honey System.. but that theory doesn't make sense if they are born on the same day. Question is. Who is their "Mom"?
