What's you're favorite character?

Mines is Miki-chan. Even though she is a B*tch on the outside.
I think she is a very kind person on the inside. Anyways, her attitude attracts me!

And Honey-chan would be my second favorite, because she is always happy (lucky.. n_n)

I agree: Miki.

The actress really nails down the dark and broodiness of the character. The shows best elements are how strongly it contrasts the ridiculous over-the-top lightness of Cutie against the ridiculously savage brutality of Panther Claw. Miki really exemplifies this.

There's a sense of such sadness she has in her voice, especially while saying something as seemingly light-hearted as "Honey Flash". Heartbreaking.

But the cast is surprisingly strong overall for such light fare. Mikie Hara is very, very good as Cutie. And the villains, too, are fantastic. Erica (Mayumi) has a tremendous screen presence (In other words- She's super hot and crazy classy.) And Mark Musashi? Man, I've liked everything I've seen him do but in this role he really takes the cake! Does he have a fan club because his resume is rocking good.

Anyway, I still say they're both great. Choosing just one is like having to choose cake or ice cream. Either way, they're both sweet.

Heh... I like Honey (even though she's the biggest ditz in this series, I liked her better when she was a little more savvy in the older series), but my wife likes Seiji. And I have to admit, he makes me laugh a lot.

-the serious one
-the uncontrollable crazy one

I also like Honey, and the ditziness does disappoint me a bit, but at least it adds to the fun and silliness of it all.

I've known about Cutey Honey for only a few months now*, but I've already become a bit of a purist about it. I was hoping Danbei would make a return (but Gen is ok), and part of me wishes she would wear the original** costume someday (not that she's worn it anywhere with the same colors other than New Cutey Honey and much of the manga), but those things don't disappoint me--those are very small matters that wouldn't have kept me from calling THE LIVE my favorite Honey.

The ditzy Honey character does keep me from doing that, though, because I see her and I like--no, love a woman who can be and perform whatever she wants (like this Honey), but thinking about this one, I always think back to New CH with her fight against Black Maiden, or a similar fight in the '70s manga with Fire Claw (both using the blinding "Honey Flash" light). The old Honey could not only be the ultimate woman, but a very tough and smart one too, that could think up a way to use what she had to win quickly. THE LIVE's Honey is still tough, but there's a chance I'd turn her down if she was as dim with me as she is there. Maybe if I saw THE LIVE before New CH, I'd think differently and dislike the old one instead. :P

This is still the most entertaining Honey yet, though (even if it's not everything I'd want in a new Honey), and both Honey and Seiji definitely help there, so I'm divided between the two. Or I might like Miki better because she's the "mess with me and I'll poke your freakin' eyes out, or worse" type. ;) So I'm not quite sure who my favorite character would be yet.

*I saw a trailer for the 2004 movie, but never knew or cared about the history behind it, so I forgot about it. Seeing a clip of New Cutey Honey somewhere made me remember that trailer, and got me into the whole Honey thing. My avatar's from that series.

I voted Miki, but mostly because there isn't much choice :-)

Of the good guys I'd says she's the best "overall", although if I had to take one along to beat up some bad guys I'd take Yuki. I don't know what they are planning with all those honeys around or whether there'll be even more. but right now Yuki appears to be the most advanced --- both in combat mode and in "blending in" mode.

Honey herself is too stupid/childish/whatever for my taste, and in case I'd have to take someone along to beat up some bad guys it would DEFINITELY not be her. You never know whether a boss might show up.

As for activities that don't involve beating up bad guys I'd probably try to go for Miki, too.

Of the bad guys, I'd vote Watari. He might want to think about refitting his blades, though... maybe using a chainsaw would help :-)

He is a very satisfying bad guy. Expecially when he speeks in english.
Honey was thus voted my favroit because I love how inocently ignorent she is. Just like me.
And she knocks bad guys out with her boobs. How can you NOT love that?

Man.. Episode 15 Honey Is like The Most Powerful of All of them. When she is in her Dark "Hadou" LOL. I wonder if that's Honey's Power when she is at Her Fullest. But.. Miki-chan is still my Favorite.
