I'm liking this series more and more. The subs are great and the video quality is really good too. The fight scenes are cool and funny at the same time, reminds me of Jackie Chan's movies (his good Hong Kong ones, that is) and I think the villians are cool and interesting.

Sadly, I can't say the same for Honey. I am a really big fan of the live action movie with Sato Eriko and Hara Miki (is that right?) just isn't the same. Plus I hate the 70s style Cutie Honey outfit. Eriko's was much cooler and I though she played Cutie Honey and Kisaragi better, more of an overly naive sweet girl than the airhead student she is in this show.

Don't get me wrong. I'm getting deeper into the show and will continue watching it (any word on how long it is?) but it's not quite as good as the movie.

Interesting, I like this show much more than I liked the Eriko Sato movie. I like the 70's outfit more than the other one, and I like the actress that plays Honey more in the show than in the movie........ Guess that just goes to show how different people can be.....

Oh well, this show is what I get to watch these days (particularly with this damn american writers strike!!!! :angry: :angry:

Can anyone tell me if the first 9 eps will be available again for DDL ? I'd got as far as Ep.4 but can't find the others now. Am I blind or are they gone forever ?

I just want to say that I LOVE this show, it's vastly different from the usual japanese shows I've watched. And thanks to everyone, if it wasn't for everyone, I'll probably never would've known about this show or Cutie Honey.

I agree with you Panther Claw.. Its a Good, Refreshing, & Fun Drama to Watch. I have fun Watching it. Especially Miki-chan!!!

First I wanted to say thank you to Sailor Spork for HQ versions of Episodes 5 and 6. I was rewatching episode six and to my surprise they were playing Scarlet Sigh (Yuki's Ending Song) in the background. Hearing the song, made me wish that they would release the full version of it and I lost the place (Miki's ending song).

CHtL Vocal Album

The Cutie oney the Live Vocal Album, containing several vocal tracks (including the full versions of "Toiki Scarlet" and "I Lost the Place," though I can't seem to find a full track list at the moment) is slated to come out on March 5th.

I swear, these albums are going to drive me broke. I don't make nearly enough from referrals to actually pay for anything anymore. It's like everyone just downloads the album when it becomes available. When I had the links up for the CH Live Action Movie, only 2 people clicked through our links and ordered it. I'm not really surprised considering what we're doing here, but back in the day... (yack yack yack... ) DAMN KIDS, GET OFF MY LAWN! Where's my pills...

First: Thank you Sailor Spork for this series!

Second: I am only up to episode 11 thus far. I have been burning the episodes to DVD and watching them with a friend, so I'm kind of going at his speed. But I love the series so much already. It's so wonderful. And it seems like with each passing episode, it gets more and more like a live-action anime, rather than a live-action adaptation of an anime. I already hope for a second season of the show. I actually hope it lasts a good few years (but I doubt it).

Going back to which honey we like better, the movie or the drama... I like the drama one but I almost think the movie was closer to honey (at least in the original and re series). I like drama-honey's bubblieness and cluelessness. its ads a lot to her charcter and makes her so much more loveable!

Wasn't Miki suppose to go beserk after she flashed. After she escaped from rehabilitation center, she acted normal after she flashed. Considering she
"escaped" from the center, wouldn't you think police would be after her.

Also what crime did she commit to get put into the rehabilitation center in the first place. It couldn't be the professor's murder because he was only considered missing.

Maybe I am thinking too much

As far as I'm concerned:

• Miki going berserk while flashed: Looks like they wanted something like this, but decided to drop it early on. I don't think we'll hear anything about that.
• Miki being in that facility: the whole thing burned up, dead people, yet she just ends up in school. Where's she living, btw? Again, I don't think we'll hear anything; they introduced the character, the introduction doesn't make a lot of sense, but it served it's purpose. Not really part of the story, probably.
