first of all (well, really first as it's the first topic lol ^^), "Cutie/Cutey Honey" is a very nice serie, so the more the better.

I've found some video source which consists in the opening without any text on it.
moreover, the quality looks like even better than the one in your releases (which is already very good for such an "old" serie).

I was wondering if it would be possible to release from that some kind of "special" version of the opening with your subs. you could even add Japanese kanji/kana subs, which would look better as well.

I'll think about it, but I don't think its neccesary.

There are 2 reasons why that clip looks better than my releases. The first reason is that it's encoded at 3 times the bitrate my encodes are released at. If I released at 400Meg per episode, they would look almost flawless encoding-wise and still be at less than half the bitrate of that video clip. The second point is that compared to my R2 DVD's, that clip has much less grain, so it has gone through some basic filtering to make it look better. I've been playing with filtering too, but if you take out too much grain, you lose details in other places. Or he has better video source than the people making the DVD's, which is possible, since I didn't see a textless version of the op on my DVD's.

It seems that there's a bonus DVD in the box release of CH, with textless opening and ending, so it can be the source.
