Description: getting more bizarre?

Wow! Episode 6 really kicked in my drugs! Except I hadn't taken any. With that psychedelic cutaway view of - Scissors Land (!) - Cutie Honey reached a new level of acid insanity. If it keeps getting crazier with each episode I wonder if there's a point when this show starts to seem normal. Scissors Land! "Mom, can we go to that great new amusement park, Scissors Land? Please? It sounds so fun."

Really loved Honey as Marie Antoinette, chopping off heads with an axe.

Ah yes, episode 6...

One of my favorite episodes. I can't wait till I fix my comp, so I can download the fansub. T.T

Now prepare yourselves for episode 7, aka, the worst episode with the worst art, and worst animation. Seriously, it amazes me how much episode 7 SUCKS.

BTW, what's the next villain's name subbed as 'Ironsado' or 'Ironside' or somethin g different?

I cant believe Honey didnt want to pay to go to Scissorland, so she decides to sneak in!! And those see through glasses are hysterical. :lol: :lol:

Yeah, the glasses were random.

The translation of 'Iron Shadow' seems interesting. Sure seems better than 'Ironside'.

Oh, in episode 7 I noticed Alphonne's name was mistranslated as 'Alphonse' -.-;

...

It was funny seeing her get so hot over Seiji. I thought she was a full blown lezzie. :P

I guess she's meant to be just desperate and hot for anyone other than Ms Miharu. By the way, what happened to Ms Miharu's other name, Ms Hystler? Don't tell me that in a show like this, someone thought the Hitler-ish name was in bad taste!?

While we're on the topic of Episode 7, I also noticed the art and animation wasn't that great. The circus scenes were pretty bad. I did like the ridiculous crying scene, though. And that Junpei - what a little perv! He so deserved that kick in the ass from his little girlfriend. Other than that, it wasn't such a great episode. Episode 6 is my favorite so far.

I don't get what the deal with the Hyster/Miharu name. I think 'Hyster' is her first or surname.

I just refer to her as 'Miharu-sensei' that's just what she's called in FLASH (from my understanding..)

Ah, sorry about the Alphonne / Alphonse thing, I need to keep a list to make sure I stick with the right name... I think I did that once what Hayami / Hayama... Anyway, the DVD insert seems to list Miharu as her real name, and Hystler as a nickname... I'm not sure, there's an explaination next to it with kanji I can't begin to decipher.

Something else you may wanna watch out for is the name of Honey's sword. 'Silver Floret', in the episode 7 fansub 'floret' is translated as 'fleutte' which, according to dictionary.com in'st a word.
