I totally agree! I didn't understand much, but I'm sure Honey would be able to help them both! (As for her greyed out ending, I'm sure she can't be done, as she's the main character :P )) Can't wait for the subs, AND the next episode!

And Nakajyou as a Honey clone? Hilarious! And the forehead spike thing, I don'T undertsand though why he (she? :P ) didn't go like Miki in episode 21...now that I wouldn't have minded! but Miki? TwT Also love Honey ripping the armpit hair and shoving frogs down Nakajyou's front...

I don't know what's worse: Nakajou as a Honey Android reject or Seeing Honey decapitated?

I would say both! But I'm sure Honey will be fine! (she's the main character after all XD))

Well, there is also the fact that she is "re-capitated" in the previews!
Although someone made some refernce to Miki in the preview, the only time I
*think* I saw her was a scene when Panther Claw is dumping her body somewhere... :(

Sorry Candyman, I cant really tell who is in the picture. I really dont want Miki came back alive due to Mayumi. Who knows what she has done to Miki. I rather have Miki dead than have her in Mayumi's hands

Well it ain't Yuki thats for sure.. If you watch the Raw,, its more detailed this pic I shrunk it down.. Well Seems like Mayumi is changing to be a better person.
And Honey as Clueless as she is.. She seem to trust Mayumi to save Miki.

I also think it's Miki in the picture, mostly because of the hair...Yuki's hair in its new style is more curly, and Yuki has bangs, while Miki's hair is long everywhere and straight, just like the girl on the right in this picture.

I just want to say; who smiles when their decapitated???? Unless Honey was a victim of The Joker's Joker venom, I hardly think its approprite to smile when dead. It's like she's glad am dead, it's so irritating.

We will see when the subtitled version comes out, but I think Honey is knowingly sacrificing herself with the hope that it will allow Yuki and Miki to live. Esepcially after what Miki told her about her origins she probibly feels partially responcible for Yuki's problems as Honey's creation was only possible do to experimentation on Miki and Yukiu. So her smile is sort of a "I'm doing a good thing, I'm going to save my friends and make up for my father's sins" sort of thing"
Oh course, I still wonder whu Yuki has to decapiate her, doesn't that run the danger of damaging her and preventing a cure?

Yeah, I guess so, am just not used to it.

It's hard to tell who is in the preview for the next episode in that cap. It may be Miki though. It doesn't look like Yuki's house, it looks more like Kisaragi's mansion from Miki's flashbacks.

THank you for subbing 22, and after watching it countless times, I think this episode was not quite what I expected. Avatarthe (I hope that's how you spell it, sorry), you were right. Honey smiled for a reason; because she knew by seeing Yuki "bleeding" that she was flawed and needed her parts. So Honey accepted death by Yuki; but I will hardly think that she'll take care of a lifeless Miki-chan. Which brings me to another question; Is Miki-chan's body a sex toy to Mayumi now?? Also I think seeing Nakajou as Honey was the WORST, my GOD!!!!!!! Also he/she should've learn when your incomplete, PROBLEMS WILL COME ABOUT!!! Yuki's the only one left, I wonder how this series will end????

One last thing.....

You Might Or Might not Like it..but She will be Back. Hopefully it's a Very Fresh and New Miki. Hehe.. I wouldn't Be surprise Her Costume Might Change a Little. Hehe. That would be Fricken Awesome. Wow this episode left me speechless. As for Honey dying, who knows if she is going to come back alive or not. There are only 3 episodes left, so they could leave her dead.

Man you guys have Any hope at all? They ain't going the get rid of them.. Especially when the series is almost done... It's not a Yuki Show.. It's Cutie Honey Show. Especially Honey... Kinda weird to change the Opening Intro with only Yuki. Man am I the only one here that Doesn't want the Honey's to live? Man.. Ratings People!!! They Not going to get rid of them.. If they did this show would have Flopped already. The Good will prevail. Hopefully in the Big Finale. Go Honey's!!!

A Howdy, a comment and a question - all in one neat pile!

Firstly major thanks to the Sailor Spork Crew for their work on this series; I found out about Cutie while doing an assignment for our paper, devoured the Live film, and wondered how I was going to grab the live series. The Sporkies solved that as well as introducing me to the back anime, and I've been an addict ever since. Thanks a million, guys - you are heroes.

Comment-wise, If anything is canon in this series, it seems like Yuki is off to Sister Jill land; Panther Claw has been missing a head honcho so far, and I'm starting to see this first series as maybe setting the backstory up for series two, with a more capable Honey and an established relationship with the head villian.

Lastly, much confusion on the hi-def; it says there's soft subs, but I'll be darned if I can get them activated - and I'm no slouch at AVI conversion. These Hi-def honey MKVs are the only ones I've ever not been able to cull softsubs from, through either VSO convertX or Total Video Converter. Any idea what I'm screwing up?

They play just fine, so it must be your AVI conversion that screws up.

Other than that, they are not entirely "soft". Stuff like subs for signs/letters/etc. and the karaoke are, to my knowledge, still burned in. Could be limitations in the way subs are stored in the file (i.e. fancy animations, fonts, arbitrary positions and angles etc. might not be representable).

Out of curiosity: if you are converting to AVI anyway, why not use the LQ version and save the trouble?

My apologies, Kargor; my language was imprecise. I'm converting to DVD for archiving, and most of the things I have converted thus far - a blushingly large haul - has been in AVI format - thus, not new to the rodeo on that format. The MKV, however, is a rarer case. ConvertX and TVC have both been great at synching the AVI and SRT subs, then came the Hi-Honeys and *poof*. I read the file info through those programs, and both say there's no subtitle stream included.

I'm guessing other folks are archiving off the Hi-defs for TV viewing - what programs would be better for this task?

I rewatched episode 14. When they showing clips of what was going to happen in future episodes. I notice two scences that have not occured. First was Honey being dumped into garbage (which is happening in next episode) and Honey lying in a field of flowers holding a white/yellow flower

Don't worry will be seeing it soon, although am not too sure I want to see a lifeless Honey sleeping in the flowers.

Errrrrr.. That does not bode well. White may mean purity, but yellow [I was told] could signify one sided love, permanently leaving/breaking up [my sister gave her Japanese friend some yellow flowers, the girl broke into tears]. I don't think the flowers are just there for decoration, check a page like this:
