We usually don't add DDL links immediately for several reasons, most of which involve keeping people who are able to seed on the torrent. Another reason (arguable selfish) is that we can't count direct downloads, so we have no idea how many people are downloading our fansubs.

Hmmm.. Looks that that's what miki-chan told her earlier she will get to that stage. Looks like Honey's system is the most stable of all of them besides her Dark side. Which is pretty cool actually.. hehe Akuma (Gouki) Honey. LOL

Yeah, maybe this is what Miki meant when she said to Yuki that "your body will change". Also, I have a grim possibility that the guy Miki killed in her flashback might have been their "father" after all. Know this how she tried to toss his remains in the ocean and she couldn't face their "father's" grave.

It could be him.. Seems like its him.. But I think She killed him for a reason. Also Honey Woke up too seeing the dad dead .. So I guess.. the time line is kinda strange.. Did they all wokeup the same time? maybe in hour difference? Kinda confusing there.

Maybe they woke up one by one; First Miki, then Honey, and lastly Yuki.

I'm pretty sure the guy Miki is killing in the flashback is their "father," which is why she doesn't want to talk about it. No doubt she was pissed to wake up as a half broken cyborg/android/whatever she is. They haven't really cleared up what they all are, although in the anime/manga Honey was always an android with the memories of Professor Kisaragi's dead daughter, who only finds out after he dies that she's an android. This is discussed more in the next episode, so I'll stop before I spoil something.

Ep 18 did have a weirder feeling to it because it was directed by the same guy that directed another tokusatsu, "Garo," which I hear was kind of a weirder show and the first adult-oriented toku (it broke the Power Rangers mold!), without which a live Honey might never have been conceived. You notice little things like changes in directors when you force yourself to subtitle the credits every episode... ^_^;; I'm not really up on other toku, maybe someone who's seen Garo can compare the feel.

I've seen Garo and the comparisons that I've made, after seeing this episode:

Mark Musashi comes back as Nakajou's silent servent. In Garo, Mark previously played a similar role of a silent servent.

Erika Oda who plays Mayumi, had a guest appearance on Garo.

Syouma Yamamoto who plays Hayami, played Tsubasa Yamagatana/White Night DAN in the Garo Beast of the White Night. (And let me say that his character on that show is NOTHING like his character on Cutie Honey)

The three girls henshin ("transform") style was similar to Garo's protagonist's henshined style form.

The group fight scene is similar to the ones seen in Garo.

And so far, that's the only comparison that I came up with.

Hmmm.. I think Honey Woke Up last. Cause looks like Yuki and Miki is Sharing the same problem. Honey in the other hand Hardly no problem except for that Dark Honey incident. For me it will be Miki, Yuki then Honey.

The possibilities are endless...

Ah, that's the Momotaros link. We used the same raw for 18 (though we found it on Winny first), but we think we can get a 720p raw for 19. Quality no BANZAI!!!

Is that an "official" statement that the chance of seeing a 720p for 18 is very slim, and we should be watching the LQ instead? :-)

I nagged at the raw provider for our joint partner we're doing One Pound Gospel with, and we have 720p raws for both. I'm encoding them now, and they should be released within the hour, if nothing major went wrong. You'll prolly see the torrents before you read this post, in fact...

Thanks for HQ episode of 18. For some reason when all three girls flash togeather. The Honey Fashes overlap each other. Its not too big of deal.
