In order for Sailor Spork to pick up Cutey Honey Flash, we need a few things to happen.

1) We need DVD rips, I'm accepting donations. I'm buying Cutie Honey '73 DVD's, I can't afford Flash on my own.
2) We either need people who are willing to sit and watch the old VHS fansubs and copy down the dialog word for word, so we can time this into a script, or we need someone to hunt down Sachi Gumi and send me their scripts to use. If we can use Sachi's old scripts, this would go a lot faster...
3) We need more staff. We'd need willing translators for eps 25-32 + 39 (though not right away), and timers for all 39 episodes. We're always hiring timers, the ones I have now are officially "part-timers." (Haha, bad pun)

To Transcribe: If you have your own VHS fansubs, you'll save us a lot of time. Just post which episode you want to transcribe, watch the episode, type out the dialogue, and send it to chobitex@hotmail.com AND sailorspork@gmail.com (hotmail can be funny), along with information on who to credit transcription to, and who subtitled the VHS fansubs (if its not Sachi). If you want to help but don't have your own VHS fansubs, get your own copy or pester me about it and I'll try to capture them when I have time. I don't need the op/ed songs.
Be sure to include who said each line, and put each line of dialogue on a new line of text, like so:

...you get the point.
Make sure there's a colon : between the name and the dialogue, or SSA won't import it correctly.

Update: Monster Zero has sent in scripts for Flash 33-38. They were never used in fansubs, whee!

I need all the help I can get! Do you have your own VHS tapes you can transcribe from, or do you need me to capture them? I can capture them, but it'll take me awhile...

I'm so greatful for your Cutey Honey releases....they are fantastic!

I have the entire Cutey Honey Flash series (Raw), that a friend (in Japan) taped for me from the original broadcasts with commercials intact.
There are quite a few Cutey Honey Flash merchandise & promo commercials, if you'd be interested in any of those.
They might make for an interesting addition to the Cutey Honey releases. :D

I just recently got CHF (1-24) and am willing to help in any way, or donate with paypal if needed. I have almost finished transcribing the 5th episode. So for now I guess I'll claim that episode, since I was watching it anyway. ^_^ I can do more for sure. I'll email it to you within the next day or so.

Are you in need of another encoder by any chance? I've been messing with Avidemux and FFMpeg since I started using Linux, and I've been getting really good results. I've never encoded for a fansub group before, but I'd really like to help out. :)

I can't really say I need an encoder, I usually handle encoding myself. Also, I don't think the Linux video encoders can hendle things like temporal smoothing and adding subtitles, which are important. If they do, let me know.

What we really need help with is timing, transcribing from VHS fansubs, and helping me obtain DVD sources. I haven't heard anything from the guy who was going to upload raws, so sometime this week I may put up a PayPal donation link (I'm giving him a little more time because I hate begging for money).

It takes about a week to get your tapes. scureuil seems to have 1-8 pretty much covered, and melissa said she's working on 5 (hope to hear from you soon! :) ). I have all the fansubs (1-24), but may captures have looked like crap and the audio has been compeltely out of sync because of dropped frames. If you want video withg missaligned (or missing) audio to transcribe from, I can provide that... :P

Avidemux has a subtitle filter and temporal smoothing. ;)

The only place this board seems to allow html is in signatures, so that's where my paypal donation link is.

I'll be ok with sub-optimal captures, those I use aren't that great anyway (<60MB, low-res, low-q).

I'm pretty much done with karaoke for the op. I'm going to try to recruit someone 'famous' or from a bigger fansub group to do the karaoke effects (I want this to look SNAZZY). I'm typesetting fansub credits now. As far as the Special Thanks donations, I will credit one per episode, so you'll get you don't need to share an episode with another donor. :) The first person to donate will get their name on episode 1, and so forth...

It's coming, I'm just busy with other things... like finishing Uta-Kata with AnimeYuki, and doing other "favors" for AnimeYuki that take more time then I should give. DAMN YOU KEV!!!
